Helping you understand upcoming NDIS changes
The NDIS is undergoing significant reform, with changes being introduced gradually over the coming years. To help clients, families and carers navigate these changes, genU has developed a dedicated NDIS reforms webpage that brings together key information about upcoming reforms and what they could mean for participants.
The NDIS is undergoing significant reform, with changes being introduced gradually over the coming years. To help clients, families and carers navigate these changes, genU has developed a dedicated NDIS reforms webpage that brings together key information about upcoming reforms and what they could mean for participants.
The new resource provides a simple overview of what's changing, when changes are expected to happen, and how they may affect people who use the NDIS. It includes an easy-to-follow timeline outlining key reform milestones between now and 2030.
We know many people have questions about the reforms and what they could mean for their individual circumstances. While some changes have already taken effect, many will be introduced gradually over several years and will continue to be informed by consultation with people with disability, families, providers and governments.
Importantly, most people will not be affected straight away and not every reform will apply to every participant. Every NDIS plan is different, and individual goals, support needs and circumstances will continue to be considered when decisions are made about supports.
The webpage also outlines genU's commitment to supporting clients and families through the reforms.
genU will continue to monitor developments closely and share updates as more information becomes available.
If you would like to better understand the reforms, explore the timeline of key changes, or learn more about what they could mean for you, visit our NDIS reforms webpage.
