genU provides continuity of care following Nightingale closure
genU is committed to ensuring continuity of care and support for clients affected by the sudden closure of Geelong-based provider Nightingale Home Care and is welcoming impacted staff to join the genU team.
Nightingale was engaged by genU as one of several service delivery partners supporting older Australians who receive Support at Home services through genU.
genU has immediately contacted all clients affected by this change and arranged continuous service coverage to ensure support without interruption. We are also working to implement longer-term staffing arrangements to provide ongoing continuity of care.
We understand the importance of consistent, reliable care in helping clients remain comfortable, independent and connected to their communities while living at home.
We are also welcoming Nightingale employees and other clients affected by the closure to explore opportunities to join genU.
The genU team is here to help and can be contacted on 1300 558 368 or email connect@genu.org.au if you are personally affected or know someone who is.
genU is welcoming impacted Nightingale employees to continue their important services by applying to work with us, on the spot.
This week, genU is hosting Drop-in Sessions where team members give advice on opportunities to start working for genU immediately.
Immediate interviews and rapid onboarding are available for interested and qualified candidates.
